Monsters vs. Aliens

Mason had his birthday party this weekend since his birthday is during spring break. He had 14 kids (including Rylee and a friend). We went to see the Monsters vs. Aliens movie. The kids has there own popcorn and drink. They did a great job during the movies. We just left a little too much time at the end and we were trying to think up stuff. Rylee thought of "Monsters, Monsters, Alien" --a version of duck duck goose, which was perfect. We then played "Galactor says" a version of Simon says. The lifesaver was the Alien Makers we had. The boys loved them. We had one and borrowed one from my friend Joey. They enjoyed the Alien cupcakes, especially the Laffy Taffy legs. Overall I think that they had a great time.

March Madness

Darren and I aren't really sports fanatics. We do enjoy them but we just don't take the time to watch them unless its a big game.

So we all did brackets. It was pretty fun because Ayden, 2, just picked the last team I said-so if I said Duke vs. North Carolina, she would pick NC. Mason, 5, seemed to pick any team that had the word State in it or two names. Rylee actually got the seeding.

I am the one obsessing about making sure that my bracket is up to date. I love the yahoo fantasy sports because it keeps track for you. I still have to keep a paper copy and highlight the winners.

Friday night Darren and I sat to watch the game and he feel asleep and I continued to stay up late to finish watching two games that were in over time...yah Wisconsin Badgers!!

Hearts at home

I had a really fun yet full weekend. It was a great getaway but a little stressful trying to get away. Once I was away I was renewed and refreshed. I really enjoyed hearing Kevin Leman and all the other speakers. Where ever you live it would be worth a drive to Normal IL for the conference!! Check out the website

"Just wanted to invite all of you & your families to the Kids EXPO, this Saturday, March 14th at the RecPlex. 21st century kids

I thought this was funny yesterday. Ayden had a pinwheel and she was blowing on the front of it so it wouldn't spin. She came to me and said, "No batteries". Everything has to have batteries.

Hotel for Dogs -

Mason, Ayden and I went to see Hotel for Dogs and it was a lot of fun. Ayden sat through the whole movie (with the help of popcorn). Mason loved it and I cried. We went to the Marcus Theater "Frosty Flicks" on Sat morning at 10 am. It costs 2.50 a person and you get a small bag of popcorn. Next week is Pink Panther 2 which Darren really wants to take Mason and Rylee too.

Kocherspspsppsergereer

The volume isn't very good.

I am trying to get her to say her name. She calls herself Didi?!! So she is saying Didi Kochersperger. Darren wanted her to do jumping jacks so she did a somersault then the jumping jacks. I am not sure why Ayden is in a diaper?!
